BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT (CAREER) DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ADMINISTRATION (REGISTRAR'S OFFICE) OF TASHKENT STATE UNIVERSITY OF LAW
According to the order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 47 of March 26, 2022, No. 155 of May 5, 2021 "On approval of the model staff of administrative, technical, service and educational assistants of Tashkent State University of Law in the new version", additions and changes were made to the order No. 2, and the Employment (career) department was established within the Educational and Methodological Department (registrar's office) of the University.
The employment (career) department consists of 2 staff units, and presently, 3 employees (including 1 woman) are working.
The department is considered a structural unit of the university and carries out the current management of work related to collaborations and internships of students at the university, employment of graduates, and their monitoring, as well as studying the needs of graduate students.
INFORMATION ABOUT STUDENTS
About 300 students are in need of social protection study at Tashkent State University of Law. 67of them are listed in the “Iron” (people with low income), “Youth”, and “Women” registers. The number of students studying in orphanages is 19, the number of students with disabilities is 51, and the number of truly orphaned students is 18.
ON PROVIDING EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENTS
Today (as of March-August), a total of 383 (12.7%) students of the university, 81 students at the Faculty of Criminal Justice, 41 students at the Faculty of Public Law, 38 students at the Faculty of Private Law, 73 students at the Faculty of International Law and Comparative Legislation has been working in state and non-state organizations on the basis of contracts and civil contracts. Also, 34university students are working directly at the university on the basis of labor contracts.
ABOUT PRACTICE CLUBS
1. "Justice" student club: established by order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 28, 2018. The order of the Minister of Justice No. 319 dated November 30, 2021 "On introduction, graduation internship and improvement of work-study in judicial bodies and institutions" envisages graduation internship for students of the 4th year. 55 students of the 2nd-4th year of the university were accepted as members of this club. They are distributed to departments by the HR department of the ministry.
2. "Future prosecutors" club: it was established on the basis of the memorandum on cooperation in the field of training of legal personnel concluded on April 20, 2017, between the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State University of Law. 301 students of the 2nd-4th year of the university are studying in the prosecutor's office as members of this club.
3. "Future Lawyers" club: established according to the memorandum on cooperation in the field of training of legal personnel concluded on November 25, 2017, between Tashkent State University of Law. 50 students of the 2nd-4th year of the university joined this club.
4. "Future notaries" club: established according to the memorandum on cooperation in the field of training of legal personnel concluded on September 7, 2020, between the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State University of Law. 62 students of the university have internships at notaries as members of this club.
5. The "Ombudsman Club" was established on June 11, 2021, according to the memorandum of cooperation between the Representative of Human Rights of the Oliy Majlis (ombudsman) and Tashkent State University of Law. 20 students of the 2nd-4th year of the university joined this club.
6. "Young Diplomats Club" was established at the initiative of the Ministry of International Affairs. About 300 students expressed their desire to join this club.
ABOUT THE TELEGRAM CHANNEL “TSUL CAREER”
Dialogues and marketing are being conducted with employer organizations in connection with the employment of students. 255 announcements about 475 vacancies for lawyers with higher education and similar positions in the territory of the Republic were posted on the "TSUL CAREER" telegram channel of the Center.
ABOUT COOPERATIVE RELATIONS ON PRACTICE AND EMPLOYMENT
Tashkent State University of Law has concluded cooperation memoranda with more than 30 organizations in order to directly implement internships and future employment of students, as well as to establish direct contacts.
In particular, cooperation has been established with the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Justice, the Bar Association, and the Notary Chambers, which are potential employers of the University.
In addition, it is planned to establish cooperation and draft contracts with the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, large commercial banks, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, and People's Reception Centers, in order to further implement the practice and employment of University students.
INFORMATION ABOUT REGULAR BUSINESS MEETINGS FOR STUDENTS IN COOPERATION WITH EMPLOYERS, JOB AND INTERNSHIP
In cooperation with employers, vacancy and internship fairs, and regular business meetings for students are being organized.
Jumladan, 25-mart kuni Toshkent shahar IIBB huzuridagi Tergov boshqarmasi vakillari bilan boʻsh ish oʻrinlariga ishga joylashish yuzasidan uchrashuv oʻtkazildi. Uchrashuvda 200 nafarga yaqin talabalar ishtirok etib, talabalarga mavjud 100 ga yaqin boʻsh ish oʻrinlari, ichki ishlar tizimida xodimlarga yaratilgan shart-sharoitlar, ijtimoiy kafolatlar, ichki ishlar tizimiga ishga qabul qilish tartibi, nomzodlar uchun qoʻyilgan talablar haqida maʻlumot berilib, tergov tizimida ishlash istagi boʻlgan bitiruvchi kurs talabalarining obyektivka-maʻlumotnomalari IIBB kadrlar boshqarmasiga taqdim etildi.
In particular, on March 25, a meeting was held with the representatives of the Department of Investigation under the Department of Internal Affairs in Tashkent regarding employment in vacant positions. About 200 students participated in the meeting, and students were informed about 100 vacancies, the conditions created for employees in the internal affairs system, social guarantees, the procedure for recruitment into the internal affairs system, the requirements for candidates who want to work in the investigative system and the CVs of the undergraduate students were presented to the personnel department of DIF in Tashkent.
19 organizations and enterprises participated in the labor fair organized on March 30 with about 100 vacancies requiring higher and secondary specialized education.
At this job fair, students had the opportunity to get direct information from the organization's employers about paid work, job vacancies, working conditions, and guarantees.
About 100 of the more than 700 students who participated in the fair submitted their applications to the organizations.
On March 31, organizations with 70 vacancies participated in the labor fair organized with the participation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 15 commercial banks. More than 400 students who want to work in the banking system participated in this fair.
Banks received 410 applications from students to work in the banking system (more information is in the appendix).
On April 19, a career day was organized in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the event, students had the opportunity to get direct information about working in the system of the Chamber of Commerce, vacancies, working conditions and guarantees.
These job and internship fairs are scheduled to be held weekly on an ongoing basis.
On May 12, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the recruitment of vacant positions in the ministry system.
At the meeting, the representatives of the Department of Spirituality, Education and Human Resources of the Ministry of Internal Affairs discussed the vacancies in the system, the tasks and functions of the ministry, the conditions created for employees, social guarantees, the recruitment procedure, and the requirements for candidates
On May 16, the representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives of the HR department met with the graduating students.
At the meeting, full information was given about vacancies in the prosecutor's office, requirements for candidates, recruitment procedure, conditions created for employees, and social guarantees.
In addition, all graduate students (undergraduate, master's degree) were interested in working in the prosecutor's office participated in this meeting and received direct answers to the questions they were interested in.
At the meeting, a list of graduates wishing to enter the prosecutor's office was formed and presented to the personnel department of the Prosecutor General's Office.
On May 20, a meeting was held with the representatives of the justice department of Jizzakh with the requirements of graduates who want to work in the system.
The management and personnel of the department directly participated in the meeting, and information was given on the issue of recruitment, tasks and functions, conditions created for employees, social guarantees, and the procedure for hiring.
On May 27, at an open dialogue event held in cooperation with the Namangan Regional Justice Department and the Student Service Center of TSUL, vacancies in the administrative system, their tasks, and functions, conditions created for employees, social guarantees, recruitment procedures, the candidates were informed about the requirements.
On June 14, a meeting was organized for graduate students of the university in offline and online mode on issues of recruiting students to the judicial system. At the meeting, information was provided about available vacancies in the judicial system, the procedure for hiring, requirements for candidates, conditions created for employees in the judicial system, their rules of conduct, and social guarantees.
On September 22, 23, 26, 27, interviews were held with the Ministry of International Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan for membership in the "Young Diplomats" club. 147 students participated in this meeting and had the opportunity to get direct information about the system of work, working conditions and guarantees to the students of Tashkent State University of Law, who were selected for practice.
